I did my lesson on Poetry for seventh grade Language Arts classes. There are no higher thinking levels that I included. I felt that the practice should be what is focused on verses adding more to think about on a Monday. I do feel that it meets the CO-PBST and in the targeted curriculum, I am still introducing technology in the classroom in a very interactive way. I had a problem with downloading the Smart Notebook. I had to close out everything including the internet to download it. Then finding the right tools to use. It took me about an hour of playing around to become comfortable with the software. I would like to use Smart Notebook in the same manner used for this assignment. It can be sent home with the student or used in the classroom for class quiz games and promoting interaction between the students. I feel very comfortable with this lesson. Again it did take me about an hour to get use to it. But it is very fun and will be a great tool to use in the classroom.
